CÎROC x MJB: INKD & ready for the Summer

CÎROC Vodka and British fashion house MJB recently joined forces to release a limited-edition CÎROC Summer Watermelon bottle and capsule collection. The good news is that the trucker cap, as seen on hip-hop superstar Wizkid, is included as a gift to consumers when purchasing the bottle.

The limited-edition bottle is INKD in MJB’s ombre and neon cracked design, which is inspired by the epic summer sunset, and I’m sure the flavour is as smooth as we know the brand to be. Now, I know the Watermelon flavour has been “discussed” in SA and the Twitter streets have made it very clear how they feel about it, but here me out here…

CÎROC Summer Watermelon is a rich tasting flavoured vodka that is distilled five times from fine French grapes and finished in a tailor-made copper pot still in Southern France. This eau-de vie vodka is masterfully infused with the delicate natural flavours of fresh-tasting watermelon to create the ultimate premium drink to celebrate with on hot summer days and nights. Doesn’t that just sound like the ultimate modern-day watermelon refreshment on a hot festive afternoon?

I don’t know much about fashion, and didn’t know much about MJB either, but the brand is apparently highly sought after by A-list celebs and worn by the like of Travis Scott, Gigi Hadid, Migos and Tom Hardy. The British fashion house is famous for integrating innovative artistic processes into its designs. For this bottle, creative director Marc Jacques Burton took inspiration from his hand-sprayed SS20 collection and its distinctive ombre colour scheme.

This collaboration marks another exciting addition to one’s collection, alongside the Palace, Moschino and Vivienne Westwood collections. Unfortunately, the limited-edition bottle is only available on www.getinkd.com until stock lasts. I know I wouldn’t mind adding this beauty to my drinks trolley, right next to my Moschino bottle. So, if you’re a fan with the budget to back it then try your luck and add this collaboration to your collection.
